If you mess anything up that doesn’t update a path don’t worry about it. Any other choices don’t decide over life and death. They will also show on-screen as “Path Chosen” or “Path Updated”. The important choices that impact anything can be seen in the pause menu under “Paths”. 90% of choices have no long-term consequences and only change the next line of dialogue. If you make a mistake, you can copy back the save without having to replay the entire story.
It is recommended to make a manual save game backup at the start of every chapter (PS4/PS5 Settings > Application Saved Data Management > USB or PS+ Cloud). Messing up the wrong QTE can cause a character to die instantly so be very careful. Family Matters (Killed all the Hacketts)įor the best ending (everyone is alive at end), be sure to follow every decision and QTE exactly as described.
